London bound!
Mar. 3rd, 2017 03:57 pmThis upcomming Monday I will be going to London! :) The travel party will consist of me, and seven other ladies, all of whom are pretty much old enough to be my mother. I will be the baby/mascot of the group! These ladies are people I have gotten to know trough my voluntary sewing work for the local opera. The first time I helped sewing, the opera was setting up Carmen, and last year it was The Merry Wives of Windsor.
One of the ladies in the group suggested a trip to London, and in the end eight of us signed up. We will among other things visit The Victoria and Albert Museum for the exhibition Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear. Which I'm really looking forward to. :) We will also of course do quite a bit of shopping.
I have allready begun packing. And I have to admit that packing is not an activity that I'm particulary fond of! I never really know what to bring with me! And I do have a tendency to bring along more than I actually need. Because, hey you never know, you might get invited to a fancy party or somehow get talked into a long walk in the countryside! Not that I have put a dress or hiking boots in my suitcase, but perhaps more shirts and jumpers than I actually need for a three day trip.
