This song popped into my head while I was on my way to work here the other day. I have not listened to it for ages. I can't claim to be a huge Beautiful South fan, and don't know much about the band, but I do like many of their songs. Such as Don't Marry Her, Manchester, Perfect 10, Little Time, Song For Whoever, Rotterdam, Dream A Little Dream and Prettiest Eyes.
I really like this one, Sail This Ship Alone, quite a lot. It's sad and melancholic, yet somehow strangely soothing to listen too. At least that's how I feel.
And the fangirly part of me might get some weird thoughts about some kind of fight between Sabeltann and Langemann..Also!! All I had was a small part of the melody and the word "hagestoler" (garden chairs) and then use that word to find the song! I had not expected my search to be successful, but I got it!
A proper happy norwegian summer song :) (I'm almost sure Postgirobygget has some kind of monopoly on making norwegian summer songs)
