Could be the whole "opposites attract thing" that I can be rather weak for xD And yeah, they spend a lot of time crushing on the same lady, but.....idk, I think they could work. x3 I mean, in one episode when they were in the scottish highlands on holiday, Tom insist on sleeping in the same bed as Roy because he found the place scary x3 And the whole series ended with Toms daughters wedding going down the drain, and for some reason Tom and Roy were the ones who got the tickets to the honeymoon trip xD Seriously! I know that they did not want to waste the money and all that, but no one said that they had to go just the two of them xD Complaining about it of course, but still xD

Why yes I have watched some Merlin

Only the fist two seasons mind you. I'm not sure why, but the series did not hold my attention for longer then that. The acting was mostly ok, and there were some things I liked about it, but still, I quit not even halfway through.

But not before acquiring a ship! (as per usual) and not not just any ship I tell you. Can you guess what I began to ship? Arthur/Merlin you say? (Even my non fandom non shipper childhood friend can see the chemistry there) Or perhaps I have dropped my preference for slash and got really into Merlin/Morgana?

Nah....I began shipping Uther/Gaius. I swear there is some history there that we have not been told! Not a previous relationship, more like a case of feelings never discussed. Talk about slowburn UST! xD

Too bad the kink meme looks dead, as I have a few silly ideas I would like to prompt. I could write them myself, but I don't feel like I can get any of the characters right.

Silly idea number 1: Uther and Gaius (finaly) talk about how they feel about each other, and secret relationship happens. Or at least, a relationship that they think they are doing a great job of keeping secret. The fact is that the whole damn castle has figured it out by now. But they think it's best to pretend that Uther and Gaius are as sneaky as they think they are. So it's a lot of "The king is not in his chambers tonight, he totally snuck down to Gaius a few hours ago" and "Yeah, the king said that it would not be necissary with any guards during the forest excursion today, I guess he wants to be all hand holding and kissy with Gaius in peace" going on.

Silly idea number 2: Random bad sorcerer of the week hits Uther with a funky spell that makes him loose a lot of common sense and courtesy, and say pretty much whatever he happens to be thinking out loud xD Gaius might be dying of embarrassment. I'm thinking Uther during some dull meeting saying something like "I must apologise for being so unfocused, can't stop thinking about the satisfying fuck Gaius gave me this afternoon" complet with a dreamy smile on his face. Eyebrows flying of foreheads and poor Arthur traumatised xD Time to find out how the hell to fix it. And Uther saying something about how, ehem, big Gaius is, and when Gaius arrives with Merlin everyone gives him a strange look.
